Alex is a Munich-based innovation minded executive automotive manager with 20+ experience in different large engineering organizations with a passion for technologies and the ability to execute and deliver.
He is currently Head of Automotive Security at TUV SUD in Germany and demonstrated history of working in the automotive industry with skilled in Automotive Cybersecurity, Project Management, Embedded Software and Connectivity.
As a Program Manager he successfully introduced a new telematics program for a large OEM in a European country.
As a Project Manager he has delivered several technological high-end solutions to different OEMs in Europe and USA.
Alex obtained a Diploma in Telecommunication Engineering with focus on Software Engineering. He is Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) from ISACA©.

The ability to perform software updates over the air is an essential part of SDV. Purpose could be functional changes and with respect to security updates to mitigate security risks due to new threats.
Those updates need to be executed in a secure manner to guarantee safety for the vehicle and its passengers at any time.
This presentation gives an overview of the regulations and standards concerning Software Updates.
